Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

The last time I had visited Arcarian range I had been shunned....cast out by my herd and family. I was too much trouble they had said...too much like my god damn father. The fools. The thought had my radars flicking back strides ribbons snapping again my hindquarter. It now I moved from my spot, where I had stopped earlier just by the border, venturing deeper into my old homeland my strides falling into a walk. It brought grim satisfaction to trespass without resistance...to shun them by moving around every inch so it was my scent here not theirs. Yes I would have them turning in their graves. I would claim Arcarian back from their ghosts and lingering holds. A smirk formed head tossing a little as my walk became more of a prance as the smugness deepened.
"I Deigo son of Kalani claim these lands as my own. From this day on I will rule this place as its king." Those proud words sprung free easily my raised voice insuring that most in the area,if there was anyone, would here. It was not enough. Once I bounced on my hind legs my front end only lifting a little but the second time I rose fully a fierce cry escaping as I struck at the air. Arcarian was mine now. There was no meddling elders to take this a way. I held my position for a few seconds after the cry faded away sheer smug delight making me jerk my head as a dark chuckle slipped. I was off then springing into a gallop, with a buck thrown in, to explore Arcarian and see if anything head changed during my absence.
