Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

This grand cypress has long been the home of the Basteinian royal family. The tree is almost as wide as a Drulan giant and its roots form a sort of barricade from the elements, as it is elevated from the ground it grows on. Most live around the tree while the king, queen, and children may sleep beneath the tree.
This southern delta makes up the wettest portion of the swamps. Innumerable tributaries off of the Tremblay make the terrain here soggy and tough to travel on for non-natives. This is perhaps the most dangerous area in the territory, as it is abundant with alligators and other dangerous swamp inhabitants.
Bastein Bayou has long been regarded one of the most dangerous places to live in the Homeland. Crawling with creatures on two to eight legs, equines unfamiliar with the soggy terrain beware. One must be light on their hooves to avoid the many pitfalls of the swamps. The old land have a lot of history and it has long been ruled by the same family. The bayou is a welcoming place when newcomers are willing to get their hooves a little mossy.
