Haruto
Sometimes I wish I was as free as a bird, flying through the air, or maybe more like a fish in the water...
The water was so cold, but he loved the water so much. That was just what the palomino stallion was thinking as he was wading in the waters of Voldea River. Maybe he was insane to be in the water at this time of year, however the warmblood had a special love for being in the liquid. Haruto is the stud's name, and he was currently just walking along with the flow of the river enjoying himself. Of course, the freezing coldness of the dark blue hues made it hard to really enjoy the water. He thought that since it was one of winter's warmer days, that the water just might be a little warmer by chance. It sure wasn't, he found out, but the stallion stayed in anyways.
Even Haru could only stand the bitter cold for so long though, and he finally reached the point where he decided doing something else would be better. Already at the edge of the waterway, it didn't take long for the palomino to get out after a few stumbles. Wait - did it just get even colder? Sometimes the three-year-old made did some stupid things, and swimming at this time of year was definitely one of them. This happened every year though, and a few times each year as well. So far he hadn't died from the cold, though he was aware that could happen. His brown eyes glanced around, seeing the thin layer of snow that covered the land. The freelands was a great place to be, and Haru often found himself spending his time here. In the winter however, things seemed to be rather boring.
Right ahead of the palomino was none other than Rivatha, the place known for its wonderful apple orchard. Sadly the trees were robbed of their apples and leaves by winter, leaving the wooden frames barren of anything till they would grow new leaves. Haruto still headed towards the orchard anyways though. He really didn't have any better idea right now. Feeling a sudden spike of energy, the stallion sent his stocky frame into a rocking canter. Head held high, the palomino went along like a young colt. The water that had soaked his coat was nearly gone by the time he reached the orchard, allowing him to forget that bitter cold sensation now. Soon his path was faced with numerous trees which he weaved around as he maintained the three-beat gait. Haru soon slowed to a trot as he looked around, wondering if there were others in the area as well. If no possible good company was around, he figured he could stand around and watch the clouds. Glancing up for a moment, the stallion saw white hues scattered about the light grayish-blues of the sky. Lowering his gaze he returned to his previous thought - was anyone else around here?
