Haruto
Sometimes I wish I was as free as a bird, flying through the air, or maybe more like a fish in the water...
Winter could be a bitterly harsh time of year - many knew that as a fact. This year however, was rather mild so far. You could say it has even been enjoyable. Still, the temperatures remained cold, and the ever so common white blankets of snow were spread across the lands. In the sky, bright yellow hues blended into the soft blueish-grays. Not a single cloud was in sight from where the palomino stallion stood. Lowering his gaze from the sky, this warmblood titled Haruto broke from his standstill to move forward yet again. A small sigh left his maw as he knew there was no option of cloud watching today. Thus, he ended up walking aimlessly around in the shallow water that lined the land of Drulan Woods. It was the ocean waters that he was in, on the southern end of the forest. He was all too familiar with with the land along the ocean, however he couldn't say the same for the land farther in the forest that sat to his right. Haru eyed the endless line of leafless trees, debating on leaving the body of blue to venture into the land. The last time he explored the woodland was quite some time ago by now, and he thought it might be nice to see it again. If only he could stay in the water while doing that though. Oh, how hard it was to decide on things sometimes.
Despite his love for being in the water, even Haruto couldn't ignore the cold of it. Winter definitely was not his favorite season. "Hrm, Drulan Woods," the lad mumbled as he turned to face the land. Slowly taking steps out of the water, he decided it might be interesting to venture into the land. Maybe he was young and full of youth, however the stallion sure wasn't very energetic all the time. It was partially because of the season, it seemed to make him lazier than usual. Then again, he was one to make excuses as well.
With his lower half dripping wet, an instant chill from the cold reached him. Though he wanted to return to the water that instant, Haru managed to ignore the cold, knowing it would go away once he dried off a little. Brown orbs glanced around as the stallion wondered if he was still the only one around. From what he could tell, he was. Of course, only for now. This land was the home of a herd, wasn't it? Then there were probably horses somewhere around here, and with a golden palomino coat and his size being on the larger side, he sure was hard to miss. A kind heart, Haruto usually enjoyed the company of others at least, so being spotted wasn't really something he worried about. Perhaps a nice conversation with others would be enjoyable right now even. For now though, the stallion simply ventured into the trees, just hoping he would cause any trouble.
