Czar ~ Delphi
Spring was a welcomed time of year in the most northern reaches of the homeland. It didn't necessarily mean new birth or greenery, but all the same it meant something new to Czar. Shaggy coat and all, the beast of a stallion made his way back to his forever home in the summer. Even Czar had a hard time sleeping in the ice caves when winter came around. The most weathered of beasts would have to be quite insane to expect to live there entire lives in Cikuq, or at least this is what Czar thought. He also is pretty sure that he was the longest resident of the frigid wasteland. Entitlement to his opinion is a given having weathered nearly eight years in his birth place.
Delpi too had her rights to her opinions, and the white winged owl didn't have any trouble sharing her wisdom with anyone who dared cross her path. The bird couldn't fly too high in Cikuq, the frigid air kept her grounded and in turn reliant on Czar for safety on the ground. Her wings, silent by nature, brushed against Czar frequently as the made there way further and further into the territory, away from their winter home in the farthest reaches of the territory below them. "I do believe we are close, Czar. I can see the spirits illuminating the caves ahead of us." Delpi believed she could see all. Whether or not Czar believed her would never be known. The stallion just nodded in agreement and went on his way, happy to have the company of his trusted friend. He didn't stop her when she reached out to other equines who dared venture to the caves. She shared her wisdom with nearly all of the strangers. It wasn't just Delpi giving the advice though, and perhaps this is where bird and horse's alliance begins. Czar was quick to offer advice to anyone in need. Czar was also quick to rescue any lost souls that should come to the ice land, and there were many.
Together the pair created a weathered version of time. They spent there lives lonely and thinking. What more was there to do but solve the worlds problems and counsel lost souls? Czar cocked a white feathered hoof as soon as he was tucked safely inside of the cave. Delpi perched on his shoulder, taking in his warmth and humming to herself. And they waited. They both new it would take some time, but neither minded. Delphi hummed and Czar thought and they both waited.
