Starvation (Diego)

The stallion's hunger was worse then that. It was starvation, but not like any you would expect from a living creature. No, this scarred, angry stallion was starving for pain; Hungry for others writhing in agony. It plagued his every thought, constantly weighing down his mind. He felt sluggish, as if swimming thorough tar. The worst part of this yearning often shut down his mind entirely. He would find that his body wondered while in this off state and most times he awoke days later in places he had never been, with no recollection of how he got there or what he did.

This, sadly, was one of those times. Ver stood at the edge of the Arcarian range staring up at the peaks in awe. He had never been this close to the territory the towering peaks and buffeting wind were amazing. Though it was diminished by the emptiness that plagued him, a frown struck him as he looked around the windy southern plains of Arcarian and found it barren of life. He sighed and thought of calling for the ruling stallion crossed his mind, it might have been interesting to try fighting for the land. He immediately dismissed the thought, Ver had never been an ambitious type, he never wanted his name to be feared through out the homeland; he just wanted a simple life.

No, if he wanted to sat this seemingly insatiable appetite, he would have to lay low and wait. Looking around once more he found a nice rock outcropping that would be a suitable windbreak. He moved for the first time since 'coming to' and found a sharp pain in his front left leg, he looked down curiously but there was nothing visible to suggest what would be causing it. He shrugged it off and lay down near the rocks enjoying the ease off of wind. Now he would wait.
