So many things! I could use some opinions

So to catch everyone up in case they haven't seen mewhiningtalking about it in the cbox:
- I work in a barn in exchange for lessons and my trainer has told me that she would help me to train and resell my own horse because that's something that I've become interested in.
- I found a free 7 year old unbroken gelding online and I'm really interested in him and my trainer's given her seal of approval on his conformation.
- I texted the owner today and found out he's still available and am possibly going to meet him next Friday just to see what I'm going to be working with should I "adopt" him.
But there are a few more things that I need to consider before I dive into this:
- I'm going to be moving to Arkansas next summer (so about 9 months from now) for an internship to work in a clinic and work with cows and horses to be sure I want to pursue an education to become a large animal vet tech.
- I wouldn't be able to take this gelding with me if I were to adopt him so. I would adopt him with the idea of selling him in the first place so I have nothing against selling him. I just worry about the horse market up here.
- I could make a decent amount of money off of him according to my trainer just on his color alone and if I were able to get him to a point where people could ride him without any adverse reactions would make him worth even more.
- My trainer thinks that if I were to work with him 4-5 days a week then I should have the basics with him in 3 months but 9 months would just be an added bonus to get him even more broke. And I think that once I could get him to a good enough point I'd post his ad just to see if I get any nibbles.
- With my current job I don't know if I could make it to the barn 4-5 days a week without changing my availability which might kill my hours.
[li]Through the fall and winter I won't be doing as many chores so I won't be earning as much money there for board, even though he'd be on pasture board (which is 275$) even though I have quite a bit saved up now since I work more than lessons cost. So I'm worried about having to pay out of pocket for board. I also don't know if my trainer will charge me for the training she helps me with.- Vet and farrier bills.
- I had better get a decent amount of hours at work or a promotion or another job to help have some extra money to pay for these things and in case anything else comes up.
I think that's everything but as I think more I'll probably add more.
