She was bored. In the few days that she had been a part of Orut she had covered the entire ground. Oh, and how she was captivated by everything! What with the relentless mist brought in from the ocean and the mountains making everything so mysterious, she couldn't help but everything awe-inspiring. But there was nothing much more for her to do by herself now, so she found herself gazing out upon the sea as best as she could. The buckskin mare stood out like a saw thumb against the black sand of the beach. Her golden body moved effortlessly across the dark, minuscule rocks. The only thing about her that matched these surroundings was her hair. Her locks of black matched the colour of the terrain, and her dark brown eyes were't far off either. However nothing about her personality suited the atmosphere this place gave, she was far too pleasant and juvenile. What with the colour scheme and the ocean mist, one could very easily be wary of this area. It did appear as though something wicked was going to happen. Not that Harmonie believed anything would happen. This land was as safe as they come. Her visibility greatly impaired here however. Rearing up she struck the air with her hooves, releasing a satisfied snort as an idea popped into her head, one that she had every intention of going through with. All she needed was Russell.
Moving silently back into the shelter of the trees, the mare moved as soundlessly as equine-ly possible. Her brown orbs sought out the familiar stag that introduced her the herd and it was not long before she found his silhouette in the fog. A playful smirk gathered on her lips as she hid her body as best as she could from behind the tree. Her notion was childish, but it was one that she desperate to do. Since meeting this delightful stallion she couldn't help but feel he was all work and no play. He didn't seem to be comfortable around mares either, something that bugged the lass a little. She was just like him, minus a few bodily alterations. She was still a horse though, just like he was. The buckskin mare wanted him to know that. The other thing was that she wanted him to lighten up a little, to know that he could still have fun. Pricking her ears, her lithe figure moved in a wide arch around the brown and white log that loosely resembled a four legged animal, creeping up from behind. She was still several feet away. She doubted that she would have been able to identify 'his' figure if she hadn't been closer before in her previous hiding position. She just needed to wait a few minutes to make sure he was not expecting her. Putting him on edge would also be amusing. He didn't seem the sort to like confrontation. Whilst this was a game to the femme, it would also help her gain better knowledge of what fighting for this land would entail if the need ever arose. She needed to know how close she could get before being noticed to test her stealth. These thoughts mulled over inattentively in her mind until she sneaked closer to her practice mannequin, gaining with every stride and using the trees to shield herself. The woody scent was wafting towards her so she knew he would not be able to smell her once she found the real Russell, and if he was facing the same direction as her dummy.
Releasing a noisy squeal she suddenly lunged out from behind her concealed spot to charge the remaining distance towards the fallen limb, playfully jumping up at it with the intention of lightly nudging its side with her legs. Upon landing her semi-rear she snorted and bounded a few strides away from the disturbed branch, before spinning around in a pirouette type motion on her hind legs to face it. Dust and forest debris were kicked up into the air. Ceasing her movements and letting the airborne leaves settle she watched, her ears pricked and eyes bright, excited. "Got you!" she laughed, resting a hind leg on the floor as though it was the most normal thing in the world. Her harmonic lyrics were energetic, knowing that to anyone standing by she would have appeared a complete fool. She'd tackled a hollow log, and then spoken to it. The lass didn't care though. This was just for some fun to see how easy it would be to get him, if it were the stag she sought. She eyed the amount of disturbed snow perched on the log for a moment, before moving forward to dip her nose in it curiously. She leapt back indignantly when her nostrils were chilled to subzero temperatures, though she couldn't resist sticking out her tongue to taste the frigid white flakes that had settled overnight. Backing away from the appendage on the ground, she continued on her track through the forest to find the stallion, the real one this time not some imposter.
ooc: Soo umm... she's pretty hyped up if you can't tell :3
