Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

To be added to this list (whether it be to join the herd or simply ally with him), these guidelines must be met:
At least one thread with the king, Tioga.
Must respect the rules he has laid out.
(pretty simple tbh)
Here's the posting forum.

LAWS OF THE WOOD.

Home. Every corner of the wood, from Letor Grove to the opposing side and everything in between must be treated with the utmost respect. Any unauthorized damages will be addressed and the offender will be severely punished.
Rankings. Equal opportunity for both stallion and mare will always be offered. A mare has the right to become an advisor just as a stallion has the right to watch over the herd's colts and fillies.
Intertwining. Those who are foreign must adhere to sessions with the herd's mystic(s) if they wish to connect with the wood and aid in the development and growth of the herd.
Egalitarianism. A herd will not thrive if one being is calling the shots, thus the reason for the King's Court. However, suggestions are always welcome from those living in the Convey.
Altercations. Should the need arise, any herd member over the age of four will be prompted to defend the wood by any means necessary. Mystics are the only ones exempt from this law.
Crossing. Permission is not needed to venture to Two Island Bay for those wishing to cross over to the island beyond. However, since the land belongs to the king, any ne'er-do-wells will be punished if any transgressions take place.
RANKINGS.

ADVISORS are the stallions and mares immediately beneath the King, Queen, and heir(s). These are the most trusted and strong-willed of the herd, and maintain various responsibilities. Advisors will be consulted whenever a large decision that effects the herd is to be made, and they are expected to uphold the reputation of the forest. They must also take an oath before being inducted, one which the King himself must deliver.
MYSTICS are the spiritual consultants of Drulan. They are the mares and stallions that share quite a strong bond between themselves and the forest. They too claim to hear the echoes of those long gone. It is under their teachings which the other herd members are able to connect with the wood, and they are often the ones which the others come to when seeking advice.
APPRENTICES are those training to become a mystic or advisor. They are usually under the age of two or three.
