Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

Genesis liked to be quiet. Being alone, however, was not her forte. She despised it and feared it, always finding an excuse to silently follow behind another being, even if it was merely a butterfly, just so that she wouldn't feel so utterly alone. Genesis was at a tricky age for one of her silent demeanor. Most mares were choosing mates and having children now, and slowly Genesis trailed further and further behind those of her species. The butterflies in the woods seemed to be the only things left. As she watched the blue winged creature flutter about on the breeze, she followed, keeping her white nose high so that she wouldn't lose site of it. Every time a butterfly friend got to high into the trees, she could feel the icy cold grip of anxiety enclosing around her heart.
ooc: short post... SKIBB i think her calling is to find the magic of the woods to calm her fears of... well... everything!
