Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

THE RULES
Stealing Edition:
Steals must be posted in IC in the form of a riddle or poem and must include at least 3 hints about the identity of the horse being stolen. For example:
Oh sweet southern belle, It's so hard to tell, If you're too young or I am to old.
Hair golden like cornbread, And a soft filly bedhead, Now is the time to be bold. - Merlo
This steal would be for Nala's filly Hushpuppy.
Oh sweet southern belle Hushpuppy is from and currently lives in the south.
Hair golden like cornbread Hushpuppy is a dunalino so her hair is golden and her name "hushpuppy" is the name of a form of cornbread.
If you're too young or I am to old Hushpuppy is only 2 where as Merlo, the one doing the stealing, is 15.
You could go about it differently, but this is probably the minimum you'd need for a successful steal. If you're too vague the staff can rule the steal a failure.
Da Rules:
Any stallion can steal mares/foals from any other stallion
Colts may only be stolen if they are under the age of two
Only Lead Stallions may block a steal
Leads block steals by correctly guessing the mare/foal the riddle is about, they have 2 guesses and my only block their own mares.
Leads have two days after the steal is posted to guess
After those two days the steal is closed. The thief must then explain their riddle and reveal who they attempted to steal at which point the staff will determine if the steal was successful
