IT'S FINALLY HERE, THE PLOT PAGE FOR THE ASIL!

Anyways...The Asils is a group of pure-blooded Hotbloods, (think Arabians), who pride themselves on their pure blood and their traditions. There are a few types of Asil, but you can find them in the herd stats because Scar is too lazy to list them. xD

In general, though, they're Arabian-like in build with earthy colors. Most paints and appaloosas are not acceptable

[/u]. They will be seen as "dirty" and impure, and most likely turned away. Half-bloods will have to prove their worth to the tribe leader, Aziz, or to either of his sons, Stau and Ahmed. Outsiders will probably, (like 95% of the time), NOT be accepted. They're pure for a reason, folks! Here's what's acceptable:

• Sabino
• Rabicano
• Champagnes, though very unlikely. Seen as "weak" because their skin will burn in the sun.
  
• Double creams (cremellos, perlinos, etc), though very unlikely. Seen as "weak" because their skin will burn in the sun.

Average height for Asil is 14-15, with the occasional 16 hand Asil in the mix like Stau and Aziz.

It is greatly frowned upon Asil to interact with outsiders. There are also negative consequences for outsider-Asil relationships, but those will be addressed in the rules.

Outside of the requirements, there is also a great future plot for the Asil with lots of drama and some death thrown in the mix. Who doesn't want to get into that?!

On top of all of that, there's also positions within the tribe available! Now, not just anyone can have these open spots. They gotta prove their worth to old grumpy cat Aziz, for he only wants the strongest and the best to help run his tribe. He doesn't tolerate weakness. Here's what is open and their requirements:

• Malika: the queen. The “chief” mate, or first wife, of Aziz. A title of honor and not one to be easily won. A mare has to work hard for this title of distinction.
  
• Sheikh: general or advisor. Will be regarded as a war general. Probably would end up being the mate of the Sayyida, though is not a requirement. A title of honor and trust.
  
• Alim: scholar. Will be regarded as an adviser; will also teach young ones the way of the tribe. No gender requirement.
  
• Warriors: The common stallion population, though they are strong and ready to battle if commanded to do so.
  
• Wives: The common mares of the tribe, typically regarded as Aziz's "wives", but not necessary. It is required that they carry on the bloodline, however.

@ Rhi that could be interesting but the only problem is they wouldn't only be mad at Diego but they'd also have to banish who ever he got pregnant but if you could find a player willing to have their mare kicked out it could work. I'm actually not sure what the herd would even do if that happened, maybe send warriors after him? xD

• @rhi - even if he kept the mare, the Asil wouldn't take her OR the foal. Period. Foal would be dirty and turned out to the wilderness with its mother.

I was just wondering if as long as the mare didn't have the foal when she returned she might be able to smuggle herself back in xD

Either way works fine with me though ^^ so I shall see if I can find someone willing to have their girl kicked out.

• @rhi - there would be no way the mare could "smuggle" herself back in. She would be considered ruined for birthing a halfblood, so she would be severed from the herd for the rest of her life. She broke tradition and soiled her bloodline, which is one of the biggest offenses for the Asil. Any mare who births a halfblood takes the gamble with such a severe consequence, which is why traditions are stressed.

• Time: Also looking at it, when you mare is accepted she'll be listed as a "wife" for the time being. Since Alim is one of the more respected titles, she'd have to prove herself to Aziz. Or prove her self to the sons, who could then vouch for her. Since Alim is a rather big role, Aziz will have to be impressed with her ability to handle things. Basically she'll have to prove she's qualified for the position and earn Aziz's respect.
