Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

THE RULES
Fighting Edition:
SOMEBODY GETTING ALL UP IN YOUR GRILL? SOMEBODY MESSIN' WITH YOUR MAN? WELL time to put them back in their place! Here are some guidelines for IC fighting.
WHAT HAPPENS IN BATTLE GROUNDS... IC fighting must stay IC, don't be offended if somebody's character doesn't like your character. It's not personal.
WE ARE GOSSIPMONGERS. All fight threads MUST take place in the Battle Grounds, even if you already planned a result and don't need judging. It keeps things organized and helps everyone stay in the know when it comes to who has what and who dislikes who.
JUDGEY JUDGERTON. If you cannot agree OOC who should win, the Staff will judge your fight thread to determine a winner based on grammar, creativity, and readability. Don't fret if your sentence structure isn't prefect, we're looking mainly for something that is a pleasure to read.
LAY IT ON THE LINE. For a judged fight you must specify in the title who is fighting with who ( Name vs. Name ) and in the first post layout clearly how many attacks/dodges will be used, a word count -if any-, number of posts for each character, and any other rules you and your opponent agreed to OOC. This helps the staff when judging your fight; it's a lot easier to pick a winner if somebody broke your rules.
