Keepin' It Fresh [Open, of course!]

♠ O R I A N ♠

The air was warm and somewhat humid with a light wind. The Voldea flowed through the Freelands slowly; undisturbed by any creature within his sight. A large, muscular stallion by the name of Orian steadily made his way to the river, head low, ears relaxed.           
       
             The grass behind him was flattened by the weight of his massive hooves. A light breeze rippled through the stallions tail as he walked along the water.  So this is the great Voldea River. Beautiful. Orian stopped to take in the beautiful sight of flowing water and stepped closer, so the water reached just below his knee. The tobiano loved the refreshing feeling water gave him. He shook his neck, effectively getting rid of the flies that had been eating at it. Orian dipped his muzzle into the river and closed his eyes contently. He didn't drink the water; just felt it slowly run across his skin.

                After a minute or two, the black and white stallion lifted his head. He took a few steps back before kneeling down on his front knees, which were quickly followed by his entire body. He lay there, simply watching the river flow, in a moment of complete and utter peace. Being on his own had its perks, Orian would admit. It was also incredibly lonely, and moments like this didn't seem so blissful to him anymore.

                He wished he would meet someone new. He wanted to see new things, but the territories were not an option. He would, without a doubt, be chased out by the stallion to which those lands belong. If worst came to worst, Orian would have to fight for his life, like he has several times in the past. He had good chances of winning, but fighting was never really one of his favorite things to waste his time with.

The stallion sighed.  Nothing to do about it now, I suppose.
