Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

This summer's a hot one!! Things might get a little dicey for those on the south end of the Homeland who aren't used to temperatures above 70 or 80 F. Coldbloods beware!!

I went and met him tonight. His owner was really nice and let me kind of do what I wanted with him and was completely up front that he'd just been a pasture pet since he came back from his trainer. But he let me saddle and bridle him, took the bit without hesitation (even though he hated it/was really uncomfortable with it), picked up every hoof, let me put my hands everywhere, tug on his tail, fingers in ears without a bat of an eye. Only problem was I couldn't mount him from the ground and his owner let me awkwardly stand on his knee but I wasn't stable at all and couldn't swing my leg over so I was just flopping on his back more or less and he got uncomfortable until he gave a little buck when I pulled on the reins to stop him and I fell off. Nothing huge, just landed on my butt so that'll be sore but oh well. Now I just gotta figure out a name for him. Suggestions?
Him and my bff, B He's a liver chestnut if you can't tell. Also don't judge the saddle/saddle pad situation. The owner just kind of grabbed stuff.
Bartleby was my first horse's name xD Everyone's saying that Archer is a good name but I'm still waiting to figure out if anything better comes along. I need something simple/easy for my trainer because she struggles with changing names xD I have until tomorrow morning to decide.
