Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

Sybil did not think much of the Freelands. It felt like a last resort, or at least like she was too frightened to enter a land on her own. She honestly wasn't sure what she was doing here. Sybil had heard of the beauty of the independent land, but she'd also heard of the danger. Just in case, the mare held her tail close to her and dare not let it flow as it naturally would. This was no place for an unattended mare, especially at night. It was always a crap shoot with who she would come across.
The dominant white moved gracefully through Rivatha's night-covered meadows today, past the famous apple trees and close to the river. The lands were white with snow. The trees were bare and the river was freezing. Sybil was, too. She could feel her hide quiver with each passing gust of winter wind. Oh how she longed for springtime to come...
OOC: MY DEAR I SIMPLY MUST HAVE A FOAL FROM YOU. <3
In all honesty, Chuck was just cold. The chill was leaving him empty and lonely, sending a flush of annoyance through the little striped stud. The zebra panted, great puffs of breath billowing above him in the arctic chill. A sigh followed as he dipped his head down, his lip curling and nudging at the pure snow around his hooves. Winter was not this breed's thing. He cursed himself for not migrating south before the snow. His adventure with the Lady Morr had distracted him a tad bit too much.
Black eye's returned to their normal height as Charliee breathed in the cold and exhaled his heat, a shiver running through his shaggy coated body. He was definitely not sporting his typical coat, and still, he lacked the fuzz most equine's carried at this time. He was at an awkward in-between. "Bloody great." He murmured before stepping out into the snow in search of a better shelter. Snow was beginning to fall again and it was collecting on his back.
