Welcome to Defying Gravity, a semi-realistic natural horse rpg!
There are no mutations, magic, or rainbow ponies here; the horses of the Homelands must carve out a life for themselves by their wits and strength alone. We have no cannons or "site-wide plot" to speak of as we've found that there are a ton of creative people out there and when our members are left to their own devices the plots stay fresh and fun for everyone. So if you're looking for a laid back site with no so called "unique" plot you must adhere to, Defying Gravity just might be the place for you!!

A hoof stamped on clay baked soil makes a crunching sound. One pressed into the mud, a sticking sound. Even when a hoof is heavily placed upon the rocks of a mountain it sounds threatening and overall unpleasant. Argus' hoof was not quite as hostile; Argus' hoof hit the beautiful white sand of the beach. His creamy white nose was held to the sky, taking in not only the salty smell of the ocean, but also the faint stale sent of a stallion.
You should a' stayed on top of it. The cremello thought to himself. You shouldn't a' left this all alone and all to me. His legs went rigid at the thought, his tail moving excitedly behind him as he prepared to make the final call. "Come out, come out, old King. I'll take care of the island in your absence." Argus usually wasn't a cocky stallion, but today his colt-hood got the best of him. He wanted a family too deeply to give up this opportunity.
