Orut Herd Plot Page!

A plot page specifically for Orut and for Gideon! c:

Gideon himself is tall, pale and mysterious. Excuse the cliche. xD Think of him like a Warrior King, (or Drogo from GoT). He is a fierce stallion who doesn't back down when challenged. He's an unyielding stallion, so good luck on trying to change him! He's also very honest and intelligent, despite his tendency to use brawn over brain. He can be loyal if his affections are won. If someone can get past his fierce shell, he's quite charismatic and gentle.

Gideon isn't alone, either; there's Hud's Russell living there as his Adviser.

Orut is definitely kind of a strange, mystical place. Gideon loves his birthplace dearly and sees strangers as kind of an annoyance until they prove that they aren't looking for trouble.

There are positions open, too! Characters who seek position within the higher ranks have to prove themselves or earn Gideon's respect to be awarded with the position. Usual stuff.

The available positions:

• The Queen: will be Gideon's chief mate, a mare who he'll love (obviously). I'm kind of looking to fill this position, though perhaps not immediately. She has to be a mare who can deal with Gideon's personality pretty well.
  
  
• The Healer: The shaman of the herd, heals the sick and weak. Not gender specific.
  
  
• The King's Mares: Mares of Gideon's that are not the queen, but still bear his children. They have a higher level of respect than common members. They will also have Gideon's affections, since the guy isn't completely heartless. xD
  
  
• The Warriors: the protectors of the herd. Only the strongest will have this spot. Not gender specific either, but mares will have a harder time proving they're warrior material.
  
  
• The Stallions: common stallions, no requirements needed.
  
  
• The Mares: common mares, no requirements needed. They do not need to be specifically Gideon's mares, but can request children from Gideon is they so wish.

-of course I'm going to fling Astrid at you what do you think this is- Once Astrid's done putzing around the Homeland and pissing random strangers off, I think she'll probably want to settle in Orut since it seems to be the place where she's most welcome. :'D She'll likely want to become a warrior since she'll need to feel like her skills are being harnessed to their full potential and all that jazz.

BUMPING AGAIN FOR REASONS. I'd really like to get some members (not really gender specific) for Gideon, especially now that band camp is drawing to a close and I'll be posting a lot soon.

I'd like to fill positions that are available as well, with characters who I think would do the positions justice.

I'm looking to fill in the Queen position very, very soon, as well s other positions within the herd itself. Alliances would also be a plus! Gideon will not be making a lot of them, (he's a pretty reclusive/private guy to begin with), so any alliances made will be very significant to Orut.
