It's Alarming How Truly Disarming You Can Be

We can thank Lana Del Rey for all of this, just sayin.
Well so. We have Carmen who is something like a warrior princess crossed with an Amazon all wrapped up in a... rather average-sized package. She was born and bred among nomadic herds of the north where any sort of weakness among anyone was not catered to. Basically if you couldn't take care of yourself after a certain point or a foal had any sort of disability, they were abandoned or put out of their misery and you could only have breeding rights if you were able to prove yourself. This, of course, created somewhat of a race of physically peaked horses with cold emotions. They weren't just scrappers either. Everyone who survived was a trained warrior and that was how mating pairs were picked.
That's where Carmen comes in.
She fought her way, literally, to the top and managed to snag herself a very well-known lead stallion with a large herd and she was his lead mare. She knocked any mare that challenged her down a peg (just because you were chosen as lead mare doesn't mean you got to keep that spot) and lasted the longest out of any of the stallion's lead mares. Everything was cool and breezy for Carmen up until she gave birth to a stillborn colt. Because of the stigma against any sort of weakness in her culture, she was seen as flawed because she had not given birth to a live foal, whether it had been a filly or a colt and the lead stallion dropped her like a hot coal and made sure everyone knew that she was shamed so even though she was the strongest mare and could easily win back her status, she'd never earn her rank back. Except Carmen wasn't going to go down so easily. She went as far as to challenge her previous mate and as she did so, he and the rest of the herd came up against her and tried to give her a "warrior's death" and have her die fighting rather than die shamed if she chose that path but that's when Carmen chose to run. If she was going to be shamed anyway, why not run and label herself as a coward to survive and have a sweet taste of revenge?
So that's where Carmen's story has begun here and she could use some help to accomplish things. So she needs:
- Allies - Horses that she can meet and that might be able to help her
- Ex-mate - The stallion that she had previously been paired with that still leads his herd
- Rival Mare(s) - Ex herd member mares that Carmen had previously defeated and maybe the ex-mate's current mate.
- Other herd members - Maybe a mix of supporters and enemies?
So basically what I'm thinking is someone create the lead stallion that lives as a nomad on someone's territory and a few main herd members that he can lead and then as Carmen finds support, we lead the two sides against each other.
I'm also thinking the player of the lead stallion and I would have to have a lot of communication between us to keep things running smoothly and keep things interesting and surprising!
Tell me what y'all think!
